One small step for AI, one giant leap for men who have only seen naked women while watching Hentai. Earlier this week, the debate surrounding the uncanny valley and ethics of AI art took a turn for the *very* horny, with several images claiming to depict computer-generated women making the rounds on Twitter.

“Apparently this picture and others are going viral on socials because women are SEETHING and debating whether these girls are AI-generated,” wrote Twitter user @heartereum alongside an image of five nearly-identical women posing in lingerie, adding that they would “totally starting a fake AI-generated OnlyFans [sic]  for gullible idiots if I fail this trading thing.”

Despite seemingly existing as a product of digital art — “I mean the machine learning digested gigabytes of real pics of real girls, but these images are 100% computer generated,” they replied when asked if the photos were AI-generated — several Twitter users began discussing what, exactly, these images say about the state of our porn-saturated society (eBaum’s World Fact Of The Day: Did you know that we live in a society???).

“These body types are attainable” and “these body types are unattainable” I literally don’t care lol,” wrote one user. “Add 3 arms, huge tits, teeny waist, whatever. Just go have sex w ur AI creations & leave actual breathing women alone.”

“Anytime someone posts the AI-generated “hot women” all I can think about is the dirty robot mags from Futurama,” added another.

“The whole ‘AI-generated women are making women mad’ thing is so bizarre because like… imagine getting on the internet to brag about how you don’t need intimacy with a person just pixels roughly in the shape of one,” quipped a third.

Yet to @heartereum, the debate misses the purpose of these images.

“The point is not to pixel peep to look for signs it's fake or not the point is they are already good enough to pass as real for 80% of NPC paypigs,” they quipped.

So, men, if you’re reading this, please please please make sure you passed health class before commenting on women’s bodies.
